CREW

John Howard
Instructor
Taxi Dancer/Demo

Nationality:

British

Where did you grow up?
Some say I have never grown up but my early years were spent in St Ives in East Anglia, UK, and after meeting Gill we have been on the move ever since.
How long have you been dancing Ceroc in Dubai/in all?

Since June 2004

Dubai has been our home for the last 11 years and two years ago Gill dragged me to a Ceroc demo at the Aviation club.  Now I'm a cerocaholic.

Do you dance any other styles ?
I'm getting into lindy hop swing on the side
What do you like/love about Ceroc?

Ceroc is so much fun because we have such a friendly group of dancers and no one minds who dances with who.  The socials are great and it sure beats going on a treadmil to keep fit.

Why did you decide to become a crew member?

II decided to join the crew as a taxi dancer as I wanted to help the beginners gain confidence so that they are encouraged to return.

Day job

Emirates HR manager for flight operations and engineering.

Other hobbies, interests

When I'm not dancing I'm diving or sailing a Hobie 16 catamaran at Jebal Ali Sailing Club.
